01 What cookies are

03 Analytics cookies
Analytics cookies are optional. They would be used to understand in aggregate how the site is used — which pages are read, how people move between them — so that the site can be improved.
Optional analytics are not loaded unless you accept them. Nothing is requested from an analytics provider before you give consent. At the time of writing, no analytics provider is active on this website; if one is introduced, it will only load after consent and this page will be updated to name it.
04 Accept, reject or manage
When you first visit, you are offered three controls:
- Accept — allows optional analytics as well as essential storage.
- Reject — keeps essential storage only. Nothing optional is loaded.
- Manage — opens the category detail so you can decide about analytics specifically before confirming.
Rejecting optional cookies does not restrict any part of this website. Every page works exactly the same way either way.
05 Withdrawing consent
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences control in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent stops optional analytics being loaded on subsequent visits.
06 Browser controls
You can also block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Doing so will remove the record of your consent choice, so the notice will appear again the next time you visit.
